Did you know that a stack of rocks is called a Cairn? I've been drawing a few of these in my art diary and decided to paint one and I didn't realise at the time of painting this but I can now see a voluptuous woman holding up all the other rocks, and so I came up with the name 'Mother Cairn'. I added the leaves in metallic gold to give a little extra finishing touch, which you could interpret as growth within the family or maybe just some simple foliage in a little rock garden. That's the wonderful thing about art, it doesn't have to be anything specific, it's what you see in that matters.
