Welcome Home

Oh my I'm just a little bit in love with this piece, it went through many different stages to end up here, big florals, little florals, muted colours and brights and everything else in between. I never start painting with any intention other than creating something with lots of love knowing that it will offer peace, love and happiness to the recipient. So after plugging away on this project I was delighted to see this beautiful bright and bold artwork evolve which gives me the sense of a 'Welcome Home', that feeling you get one you get home after a holiday and you're just ready to be surrounded by all your own stuff again, sleep in your own bed and maybe snuggle with your best furry friends.
